MANAGEMENT TEAM

Jim Ramsey, Co-Founder
Jim Ramsey has more than twenty years of experience in the Information Technology industry. He founded Ardua, Inc., a software consultancy, in 1998. Jim has participated in numerous system integration and development projects for clients in the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America. Prior to Ardua, Jim worked for Unisys Corporation, Joseph and Cogan Associates, and the Institute for Professional Management. In his twenty-five year career, Jim has amassed a wealth of experience in software development, database design, database administration, system capacity planning, system performance monitoring, networks, project management, and system architecture. He continues very actively pushing the outer limits of IT technology, and is currently very involved with the Open Source Movement. His interests include literature, art, music, and linguistics. In addition to English, Jim speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish, and is currently learning Russian.

Joseph Wolff, Co-Founder
Joe Wolff has been a software developer, architect, and technologist for over twenty years. He founded eRacks Open Source Systems in 1999, and built it into one of the premier providers of integrated open-source systems. Prior to this he was the founder and chief technologist for Silver Wolf, Incorporated. Joe has combined his management expertise with great technical prowess to perform successful consulting engagements in the fields of international banking, e-commerce, e-marketing, distributed education, and manufacturing, among others. Joe is equally at home working with executive management or directly with technical and design staff. He has a proven history of leveraging his skills and resources to provide innovative solutions to clients with aggressive deadlines.

Britta Serog, VP Marketing
Britta Serog has been with The Libre Group since its inception in 2003. She is also a co-founder and Vice President of Marketing & Sales of eRacks Open Source Systems. Britta has more than 10 years of database and software development consulting experience. Her background is in scientific programming and she has worked in neurosurgery and evolutionary biology research labs. Britta holds a Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York, and Master's degrees in Computer Science from New York University, and Business Administration from the University of California at Irvine.

ADVISORY BOARD

Sharon Mandell
Sharon Mandell is a well-known Silicon Valley technology veteran with over 20 years experience in the fields of technology development and strategic technology implementation. Her expertise spans networks, enterprise applications, Internet technology/business models, and complex computing environments. Ms. Mandell was responsible for creating the vision and setting standards for technology across Knight Ridder. Sharon has held strategic positions such as CTO of Knight Ridder Digital, and vice president and CTO of Tribune Interactive.
